HOW DO I USE THE HOLE TO THE VENTS?
Unfortunately, you'd never fit in there.
--
You need someone smaller.
--
Despite the many mouseholes, you haven't seen a mouse.
--
But you've seen someone else just the right size, haven't you? Just now?
--
You'll need Pixie.
--
If only she would stay still.
--
It's no use. But you know someone who knows all about dog training, don't you?
--
Not Jackson – he would never approve – someone else.
--
Someone who had been reading a dog training journal.
--
Go to the library.
--
Grab the parrot, who has conveniently just returned, and go back upstairs to Pixie.
--
Use the dog-tamer parrot on Pixie. You're now free to scoop her up.
--
Use Pixie on the big mousehole (or small dog hole) in the billiard room.
--
Tap the screen to see how's she's doing in there.
--
You can tap the buttons to give her instructions.
--
She's not responding properly, is she? Where's a parrot when you need one?
--
No need for a parrot, you can do it. You just need to observe her.
--
She reacts consistently to each command, just not in the expected way.
--
Roll over, for example, makes Pixie go right every time.
--
Use Roll over for right (R for R), Fetch for down, Sit for up, and Lie down for left (L for L).
--
Using these commands, guide Pixie through the vents.
--
Your goal is to lead her to the exit (she will have picked up something for you along the way).
--
Instructions:
Roll over, Sit, Lie down, Lie down, Fetch, Lie down, Sit, Sit, Roll over, Roll over, Sit.
--
Now go to the exit to meet her and possibly help her out.
--
Where have you seen a vent?
--
Check the bathroom.
--
If you haven't already, push the bath towel aside.
--
If you haven't already, use the screwdagger on the vent to remove it.
--
Take the present she brought you and let her rest. She deserves it.
