How Do I Navigate the Woods?

1. You probably need a map, or you'll wander around in there forever.

--

2. Have you met Sam? He's fun.

--

3. That long suffering stump looks interesting. If only he would let you look at it.

--

4. Now what would make a kid happy? Other than kicking tree trunks, of course.

--

5. His sister might have an idea. In fact, she does.

--

6. Now, where have you seen an interesting looking toy? But not a race car apparently. What's wrong with this kid?

--

7. You did see a toy, in the other cabin window, but it's hard to reach. What now?

--

8. Your arm can't reach it; you'll need something longer.

--

9. But how to stop it from falling out of reach on the floor?

--

10. You need something flat and fairly sturdy.

--

11. Have you visited Emilia's cabin yet?

(SOLUTION FOLLOWS)

--

12. Lay the welcome mat out on the desk to catch the robot.

--
13. Use the mop to rock the shelf. One robot, no waiting.

--

14. Remember that the only way to get Sam's attention is to try getting to his stump. He's a very focused little boy.

--

15. Give Sam the robot.

--

16. Now you can look at the stump in peace.

--

17. Looks like a map, doesn't it?

--

18. It's missing any kind reference, though.

--

19. Maybe it's only part of a map.

--

20. Where could you find the second piece?

--

21. Have you found a secret hiding place in the cabin you woke up in yet?

(SOLUTION FOLLOWS)

--

22. Take a careful look at the switch by the bathroom entrance.

--

23. Use your screwdriver to get the faceplate off.

--

24. Lay the chessboard on the stump. You now have a complete map. In your memory at least.
