How do I get the lift open?
Have you noticed a panel next to the lift?
--
It's hermetically sealed. Maybe releasing the pressure will help.
--
Or even removing the pressure adjust valve altogether.
--
Now you have access to the inside. Via a very small hole, admittedly.
--
Do you have anything that fits?
--
Have you opened the vent? Come back when you have.
--
The funnel fits the hole perfectly. Huh.
--
Now what could a funnel be good for? Guiding liquid into a small opening, usually. Do you have any kind of liquid available?
--
The are some glasses for water on the table. Maybe you can ask someone to fill them?
--
Have you tried talking to Calvin? You never, know, he might be helpful for once.
--
Or not. But maybe there is a way to contact someone else?
--
Do you see a panel with a face on the wall? If not, keep talking to Calvin until his patience runs out.
--
Try talking to the panel. Then turn around – help will have materialized.
--
Why don't you ask the steward for some water? Or even better, chilled water?
--
Chilled, not frozen! Clumsy. Now the ice, having more volume than liquid water, applied too much pressure to the glass and broke it. Hmmm...
--
Use the funnel to ask the steward for more chilled water. If you like your chilled water inside wall panels, who's to say no?
--
Check the wall panel. Chilled to perfection. Now you only need to solve the puzzle behind it, and you're good to go.
