How do I escape Clyde Duncan and save Clarisse?

Talk to Clyde to get him to temporarily release Clarisse, then talk to Clarisse to give her a chance to give you a humble, yet much needed weapon.

Flicking the card at Clyde doesn't have the same effect as it did on Evan, unfortunately. But... it's not completely without effect.

Notice how the hanging remote rotates every time Clyde stops your card assault.

Continue flicking the card at him until the remote buttons are accessible, then use the card on the remote to press the button from afar.

Talk to Clarisse while you can. Duncan won't be out for long.

Once Duncan has regained consciousness and you have cleared it with Clarisse, step on the pile of crates to reach the window and climb back up.
