How can I leave the Cove now?

Not by boat, that's for sure.

You'll need to go back to town.

Pick up your compass from the beach.

Turn around to find Gio the cat keeping you company.

TALK to him. He's a good conversationist.

Try talking to him about the COMPASS. He may know why it went crazy. (Or if you're going crazy).

That was weird. Apparently it's more useful as a translator than as a compass. Something to keep in mind.

After your stimulating conversation turn back to the sea to see what else may have washed ashore.

Pick up the unlucky FISH from the driftwood.

Turn around once again to find Gio is gone.

You can hear him from somewhere within the rocks, though.

If only you could see where he went, you might be able to find the way back to town.

Place the fish on the sand in front of the cliff to lure him out again.

Now tap the place where he came from to find the entrance to the caves.

It's too tiny for you, but you have the tools to make it larger.

Use the CROWBAR on the cave entrance.

Enter the caves to find your way back to town.
