What can I do at the topmost floor of the Clock Tower?
You'll have noticed a strange mechanism consisting of four GREEN SQUARES attached to the clock.
--
You can't seem to be able to do anything with it, though.
--
Maybe you need to add something?
--
You may have already noticed something on the second floor.
--
If you haven't done so already, go down (back) two levels and take the gray TILES from the floor.
--
Climb back up, tap for a closeup of the four green squares, and drag the tiles onto them.
--
Do the resulting shapes remind you of something?
--
Try tapping the tiles to see how they change.
--
Do the shapes mean anything to you now?
--
They look like NUMBERS.
--
Digital display numbers.
--
With four slots displaying numbers, and taking into account the room you're in ...
--
... you can't help but be reminded of a digital clock.
--
It looks like you need to set the time, then.
--
What time, though?
--
Why don't you go outside for a bit. A breath of fresh air might help clear your thoughts.
--
As you stand next to the fountain hearing the relaxing water splashing in the background, you look up to the sky and try to think.
--
You're looking at the Clock Tower from the outside.
--
Clock Towers have clocks on them.
--
Notice the time.
--
It's 2:03.
--
Now go back up the Clock Tower.
--
If you have set the numbers to 2:03 and nothing happened, you'll need to keep thinking.
--
It's not the time that's wrong.
--
It's just that there are multiple ways to show the time.
--
Two ways, to be exact.
--
While analog clocks, like the Clock Tower external clock, can only display 12 hours, digital clocks can be more flexible.
--
Look at the GRAFFITI directly downstairs for one more hint if you need it.
--
You'll need to convert 2:03 to 24-hour format.
--
Set the numbers to display 14:03.
--
Watch in amazement as the mechanism engages, and the clockface turns blue.
