Excellent question! Technically speaking, you were in Mr. Gordon's bubble, he wasn't in yours. And technically speaking, he wasn't the first in it either. Anyone dragged into the bubble by this band of alien hunters wound up in the same bubble. We never met them because various alien encounters within the bubble scattered them throughout the "time" of the bubble. The era/moment they wound up in depended largely on the nature of the encounter and their mental/physiological makeup. Crossing paths with Mr. Gordon was just good fortune. You must share a similar outlook on life (sorry).
